How to write a prompt that gets the infographic you want
Three things make the biggest difference. The more specific you are, the better the result.
Name the infographic type
Tell the AI the format you want — process flow, timeline, comparison, stat block, or framework diagram. This sets the overall layout.
Add the actual content
Paste the real steps, numbers, or points to include. Instead of "make an infographic about our onboarding," write out the actual steps: "Step 1: discovery call. Step 2: signed contract," and so on.
Mention where it'll be used
Say where the infographic will live — a LinkedIn carousel, a printed report, a sales deck, or a board presentation — so the AI sizes and styles it accordingly.
