Can I use photos of friends, family or other people?
Short answer
Yes, if the photo is yours or you have the person's clear permission. You may not impersonate real people, make deepfakes or clone someone's voice without consent.
When you upload a photo you confirm that you have the right to use it and the permission of anyone in it. You're responsible for how you use the result.
- Fine: yourself, and friends or family who agreed to it.
- Not fine: strangers, celebrities, ex-partners or anyone who hasn't agreed.
- Children: video models usually refuse photos of minors, and sexual or harmful content involving minors is banned outright.
If your likeness or voice was used without your permission, email [email protected] and we'll review it.
