How do credits work, and what does a generation cost?
Every image, video and edit costs credits. The price depends on the model, resolution and length, and it's shown on the Generate button before you start.
Credits are the one currency for everything on imageat: images, videos, trends, edits, music and tools. Faster models and lower resolutions cost less; longer and higher-resolution videos cost more.
Two kinds of credits
- Plan credits come with your subscription every billing period. They reset at renewal and don't roll over.
- Pack credits are bought once as a top-up. They never expire.
Plan credits are always used first, so the credits you bought separately last longer.
Credits are spent when a job is sent to the model, not when it finishes. If it fails, you get them back automatically.
Your balance is shown in the top bar and in your dashboard, together with your transaction history.
