Which photos work best?

Short answer

A clear, well-lit photo where the face is easy to see, looking roughly at the camera, without heavy filters. Use the original photo, not a screenshot.

  • One person per photo unless the trend asks for a group.
  • Face visible and in focus: no sunglasses, masks or hands covering it.
  • Even light. Avoid strong backlight and very dark rooms.
  • No beauty filters or heavy edits. They confuse the face and the result looks less like you.
  • A plain or simple background helps.
  • Higher resolution is better. Screenshots and heavily compressed photos lose detail.
  • For videos, leave some space around the subject.

Trend uploads can be JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 10 MB each.

Video models usually refuse photos of children and of famous people. Use a photo of an adult you have permission to use.
